|Mobile Phone CompatibilityGuide SIM44
Our objective is to provide innovative communication services which are simple to
use, feature rich and provide extraordinary value. It was with this in mind that we
created the pre-programmed,SIM44, mobile SIM card, which can be used
with any unlocked GMS mobile phone virtually anywhere in the world.
|How SIM44 works:
|In order for this application to work and deliver call savings,SIM44 works
differently from your typical Mobile phone application. When making a call, the
SIM44 SIM card diverts your dialling commands away from the local mobile
operator that your phone is connected to, and instead, it sends your call to the
central SIM44 Mobile Network. This dialling diversion will always produce
several messages on your Mobile phone screen, such as “number not allowed”,
“blocked call”, or even “invalid number”. Following this, the mobile phone screen
may display “sending message”. ALL THESE NOTIFICATIONS ON YOUR
SCREEN ARE PERFECTLY NORMAL and they are a side product of the unique
method we use to set up calls on our Network. Thus, once you make your call, soon
thereafter, your Mobile phone will ring as we call you back in order to connect you
both to the SIM44 Network and to the party you are calling.
|Mobile phone Compatibility:
We have discovered that our SIM44 application works differently amongst the
wide variety of phones on the market today. As a result, we have created a “List”
divided into five categories (A~E), showing the range of our SIM44 Network’s
compatibility with the various Mobile phones that are currently being used around
the world. The “A & B” List phones are the most compatible with our SIM44
network, with the “E” List phones being the least compatible.
Over the next few months, SIM44 will increase the compatibility of its service with
as broad a range of Mobile phones as possible. Therefore, before you purchase
and/or install the SIM44 SIM card, we urge you first to check the compatibility
with your own Mobile phone. Additionally, if you intend to purchase a Mobile phone
specifically for the SIM44 SIM – please select a Mobile phone with the highest

|Category A: (Optimal)
|This category of Mobile phones provides full integration with our SIM44
Network -where any manually, or directory, dialled calls will be placed
automatically -without the need for there to be the “call-back” used by
SIM44 to connect to calls to its Network. All calls placed by you will be
recorded in the Mobile phone’s call register as out-going calls. This full
integration will be offered with our own SIM44 mobile phone (release date
TBA) and no doubt to be offered in due course by other Mobile phone

|Category B: (preferred)
|his category of Mobile phones is the same as with the A-Category above,
with the exception that the Mobile phone will NOT automatically answer the
connection to the SIM44 network once the dialling information is sent.
Instead our SIM44 network will call you back in order to connect you both
to the SIM44 Network and to the party that you are calling.
|Category C: (acceptable)
|This has the same degree of out-going call automation as Category A & B,
except the out-going call information is not stored in your Mobile phone’s
Call Register. This applies to the majority of Mobile phones in the
|Category D: (not recommended)
|This is a very specialised category, where the automated out-going call
facilities are not available but, instead, there is an application that appears
on the phone menu as “SIM Services”, which, when activated, lets you dial
a manual number or any phone number that is stored on the SIM itself (not
from your Mobile phone’s memory) by using a directory look-up function.
|Category E: (not recommended)
|Essentially this has no automated integration but any number can be
dialled using the manual command string (which can also be stored in your
Mobile phone directory using this format). Numbers should be dialled using
the following format:
As with all telephone numbers in the SIM44 Network, the telephone number in this string, must be inputted using the following format:
First the country code, followed by the national area code and then followed by the required telephone number.
You do not need to use the international access codes (such as “00” or ”011” or the “+” sign) and, conversely, you cannot dial a number without
the country code at the front. To give an example, the number for the
SIM44 head office would be, even from the UK, simply:

All short codes, such as “121” for Voicemail, work within this dialling
format and do not require any additional country codes etc., -you dial
them exactly as listed.
However, please note that, conversely, anyone calling you on your
SIM44 number would need to call you by first dialling the international
code of the country concerned, and then your number.

|SIM44 is committed to you, our Customer, to continually improve our service. As
we progress -we want to make sure that any enhancements we create are made
known to you. In addition to the accompanying Mobile phone compatibility Chart –
we will have an online version available through our corporate Website
(www.sim44.com). You can help us very much by sending us the details of any
specific experiences that you have with a specific Mobile phone model to our
technical team using <firstname.lastname@example.org>. We intend to release new versions
of our SIM44 SIM Card to improve the levels of integration between our
Network and the world’s many different Mobile phones -and so will be continually
moving this wide ranging variety of Mobile phones through our Charts to higher
levels of compatibility!
|Building on our philosophy of bringing wholesale pricing to the retail, Mobile phone
user world, we intend to sell fully compatible Mobile phones. So if you require a
better, compatible mobile phone – please let us know and we will supply one
directly to you. We will only supply phones that are specifically mentioned as being
within the Category A or B.
|We will also continually develop and enhance the SIM44 SIM application, including
broadening the range of compatibility with various Mobile phones. While, for some
of our SIM44 SIM card updates, we will be able to provision them “over the air”
through the general GSM Mobile Network, some such SIM updates will require the
physical replacement of your SIM. For this latter case, we shall only charge the
standard replacement amount of £15 for a new SIM -and we shall only supply such
new SIMs on receipt of a specific request from one of our Customers. Please note
that our replacement SIM Card will always contain the same Mobile number as your
existing Mobile phone.
|To be kept yourself up-to-date regarding any developments that affect a particular
brand and model of a Mobile phone, please register your own Mobile phone details
with us by sending us your IMEI code (“International Mobile Equipment Identity”)
|from your Mobile phone. To find out your IMEI code, enter: *#06# on your Mobile
phone and make a note of the resulting number. Please then send this number to
us at email@example.com.
|From this IMEI code, we can tell the exact make and model of your Mobile phone
and we shall store this data for future reference. At a later date, you will be able to
enter this directly into your own SIM44 online profile.
